MomentumMedia, publisher of Athletic Management, together with National Summer Coaches Institute, are pleased to provide you with this newsletter on leadership development opportunities.

What Is the National Coaches Institute?  A selective national program developed by coaches for coaches, the National Coaches Institute (NCI) is an unparalleled, transformative “train the trainer” program where high school coaches develop research-based tools to most effectively coach and mentor their student-athletes.

Why Apply to the National Coaches Institute—How Are You Different?  “I’ve been an English teacher, school administrator and soccer and basketball coach for over 20 years. The training provided me by SportsChallenge was beyond any professional development I have ever experienced. They inspire you while introducing you to concrete strategies for effectively motivating student-athletes from all backgrounds.” - Coach Robert Rue (NY)

Our Training Tradition, Speakers and Facilitators  We at SportsChallenge have been training coaches through workshops and summer programs since our beginning in 1996. We provide interactive training that engages coaches from the moment they arrive. SportsChallenge leadership development pushes coaches to think beneath the surface, provides coaches with the latest research and tools, and creates a community where collective wisdom sharing brings invaluable insights.

National Coaches Institute Location and Details  The 2011 NCI will run from July 10th through July 13th at St. Andrew’s School (DE), an idyllic setting and one of the country’s premiere boarding school campuses. Centrally located near Philadelphia, Washington, Richmond and New York, St. Andrew’s has served as our primary summer host since 2002.
