Why Aerification is Important!  Aerification is one of the most important cultural practices turf professionals can do to ensure athletic fields are safe and healthy. With this being the case, some might ask why it’s not done more frequently.

Field Management During a Drought  Managing turf during drought conditions can be one of the most frustrating times for an athletic field manager. You may have perfectly groomed your field during the spring, but if you don’t have an irrigation system or water restrictions are put into place, your field is at the mercy of Mother Nature.

Effective Water Use  Just like all living plants, your turfgrass needs water for growth and survival. Irrigation can supplement rainfall and provide the water necessary to sustain a high quality turf.
